Combat Info?

Hey DnL fans, I've been reading up a whole crap load on this game (all of blacksac's links were very helpful) but I haven't found any solid factual news about combat. It seems that archers will be using a FPS system to my knowledge, but that's about all I really found involving such. The real thing I'm wondering is, will the combat be:
1. Click on enemy, hit 'Q' or 'A' and you'll auto attack him, doesn't really require a player to be at a keyboard to win. Macros can make you level, you get the picture. (ex. EverQuest)
2. Auto attack and follow through with the real damage with special attack. Special attacks are needed to win the battle obviousy. (ex. Shadowbane)
3. Every time you click the button, you will slash, combine it with movement for different attacks. Jumping around and being crazy. You actually have to make physical contact!(ex. RYL)

I've played all these styles, but by far enjoy the 3rd style. Not only does it make things exciting, but I just feel it's that much for freedom and fun at your disposal. If you don't agree with the game examples, that's fine, just look at what I'm talking about and it should get the point across. Whatever the battle system is, I'll still play the game because of the other great features involved, but combat will still effect the gameplay greatly for me.

FYI: I do also realize that most likely the NDA hasn't allowed much information, if any at all, to leak out about the fighting system, so if anyone doesn't know if it has been updated or not, that's fine, perhaps leave your favorite choice of combat instead.

Well I don't think your the only one trying to get info on this, I've seen lots of people bring it up on the main boards and like you said, there doesn't seem to be much info on the subject at all. My guess is that your right, most of the info is still under NDA and so most people can't really talk about it.

From the little I've picked up, the fighting system as of right now isn't really good, but this is just from little tidbits from the forums on the DnL site, certainly not conclusive at all. Very much like yourself, I certainly hope they go away from the click on target, click on spell, sit back routine. It has it's place and all but seriously, it's been done, beaten and pounded to death already.

    Seems ur not following...

this wasnt about the graphics, the graphics can still be good although its auto-attack.

I think the graphics will be good enough, no need to worry XD

    ---------------------------------------------
    Resplendent
    In pendants
(Natal trophies torn from bellies of desanctified nuns)
    A demon, bewinged, bedight
In scum, prowled their circle seeking entry to run
An arctic tongue upon Her vulva
Where rubies smeared to alabaster thighs
Glittered like a contract in the purse of a whore
Receiving sole communion from the body of christ
