http://www.roadtovr.com/valve-boss-gabe-newell-for-the-last-year-ive-spent-most-of-my-time-with-the-vr-team/1/3 of their team is working on VR. For those who are aware of how Valves business model works in detail from Valve themselves this is rather interesting news. For those who dont understand what i mean when I say this its likely far less interesting.

The burden of proof is on you, sir. You made the claim. You Google it and link it in your posts.
I still don't see myself jumping in on VR for some time, but seems like this could only be a positive for those who are into it.

when you sit down and watch the news how many references do they show at the end of the news item?

News channels often have on-site, eyewitness reporters, which is evidence enough.

Basically I thought what I mentioned was fairly common knowledge with the gaming community so I did not post a link just like I assume its common knowledge that COD sells well and I would not have to create a link proving that each time I say it
now lets all get off this tit and back on the subject at hand

If you instead referring to their business practices, specifically their employee organisational structure where all employees are allowed to choose what they work on and who they work on it with (provided they are doing something for the benefit of the company) then I guess it's interesting.
Then again, Valve don't really seem to actually produce much. They release games on a very slow basis considering the money they have available so can't imagine many people within the company are actually working on developing or maintaining games. I would expect a solid chunk of the company to be focused on Steam, both improving the platform, maintaining servers but also dealing with publishing matters, financials, customer service etc.
Considering Valve are developing the Vive headset, 1/3 of the company seems reasonable. Its enough people to move the project forwards whilst not enough to put the company at risk if it goes wrong.
What I'd be more interested to know is what those 1/3 of employees are actually doing. Are they all working on the Vive? Are some of them creating actual games for VR? Are they just supporting 3rd party developers?
or
figure out what I am saying or just move on
