From the makers of the iconic Galaxy on Fire series comes a new breed of space shooter for PC and Xbox One, combining roguelike elements with top-notch visuals and a captivating story.

Attention all Alpha and Beta test pilots! Two new sectors are waiting to be explored after you make it through the first four. You will see all-new ocean planets, rocky asteroids, improved space clouds and sun flares – which are not just beautiful to look at. You will also run into new enemies. Some are small, come in swarms, and are super-fast. Others are really huge and armed to the teeth. That’s where the new weapons and devices that we added might come in handy, or the new types of drones you can deploy. Aspiring pilots can still join the program until July 31 to take their seat in the cockpit before everyone else will get a chance later this year: https://everspace-game.com/shop/

Gorgeous looking game. Mechanics look interesting, too.

I'm curious how the story is going to be. As they say it has a deep story. Which, being a single player game that is focused on action over exploration, may be the thing that makes it good or not. No planets to land on or walk on either may hurt it in the face of competition. Looks good though. Have followed it for a bit and will continue to do so.
I've been missing any good flight sims, fighter or space, for a while.  I have and play F/A18 Hornet (All three versions) and Lockon: MAC once in a while, although it has been a year or so since the last time I locked on.  I've been chomping at the bit to play a space fighter sim (X-Wing vs TIE fighter, the Wing Commander series and especially the Freespace series were all fun, but the graphics are dated and they would not run in Win7 so I gave up on them) that runs properly in modern OS's with modern graphics; this may be the one!

The world is going to the dogs, which is just how I planned it!
