I notice an ugly thin line hue that surrounds the mountains.it looks either red or green,i hate stuff like that showing up in visuals.
FOV should be changeable in all games. It was only locked in FPS games because people were using it to cheat,so perhaps locking it from 60-120 would be a good change.
I personally don't like maps where there seems to be 1-3 colors in the entire map, those pictures for example all look maroon in color.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

@Wizardry FOV is changeable in game but its broken/ soft capped it seems. editing the ini seems to work tho :). as for the color remarks. eh it doesn't bother me too much when there's plants and animals running around/ships buzzing about the sky. I've been playing the game pretty casually and i have racked about 20 hours so far.

I have 51 hours in so far and am loving it. It is my solo game right now and I am thrilled with the game. It will only get better. Runs like a dream for me.
and what are you doing but

landing , walking around, refilling , flying 2-3 miles , landing again , walking around, Analizing something, taking a screenshot, walking, getting plutonium , flying again for 30 sec , landing at next "?" , Uploading all the crap , flying to Starbase wait for other ships , and and and

or Max out Exosuit , Spaceship , Multi Tool all Slots

or restart game after Multi Tool Terminal is suddenly crashing your game once you have all 50 upgrades.... ?

"Super Repeative" fits best for NMS

You explore the same Caverns on every planet with the same things on them trough the whole galaxy.

Why didnt they add some kind of special thing to caves like hidden NPCs or treasures ?

Its completly useless to go beneath ground and get lost in these caves because theres nothing special

same for underwater, nothing special is down there. No reward for the extra work and time waste.

Cant even control my Ship manually or land it or just hover above one place.. no the ship is always moving. how retarded for a game that claims to be a space game

in 1-2 year if Hello Games still exists by then, the game becomes good maybe.....

    Different strokes, indeed...

I have close to 100 hours in NMS so far, still lovin' it !

Both my suit and multitool are fully expanded (48 slots), I have unlocked ALL upgrades for suit, ship and multitool. Still upgrading my ship, on 44 slots atm and refurbishing wrecks as I go...

    But I STILL don't have a V1 Atlas pass, lmao !

    RNG is a bitch... :D

Do not want to ruin anything for you...but RNG is not a factor. You need to do a specific thing. Won't say more...you can search for the answer of course, later, if you want to.

Perhaps there's a "specific thing" you have to do, but I've not googled it. AFAIK, there's a specific type of thing you have to do, but success is not guaranteed. It may require any number of attempts.

Just got my V1 pass about an hour ago, while doing exactly the same thing I've done hundreds of times before, lol

    RNG is a bitch ! :D

There is more than one way to get it.  One is always there, no RNG involved. Did not know you could get it the way you are ( i think) talking about. Thought that was just the higher versions.

    Anyhow Grats:)

Pretty much my experience - I just didn't like it at all.

Good thing that others are having fun with it, different strokes
This game would have staying power for me if they gave me a reason to teraform, bury rare ores, and let me dig for them. and base building with defenses to fight off sentinels, base destruction..  Until then Ive kind of parked this game in my steam library so I don't burn out on what little repetitive content it has.  Which is about to happen.

I recommend the "Fast Action mod" which removes the need to HOLD done X a la console and the Instagram filter removal mod which keeps the color scheme BUT lowers the over saturation and gives it a nod towards reality.

Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.

I use SweetFX for many games and love to give it a different touch, like Borderlands or Fallout 4 which i both made much darker and grittier.

The Instagram filter does a good job on NMS, but for the many other re-shaders and such i must say that in NMS i don't see any difference on the many comparison screenshots allover the intarwebs.

This game desperately needs mods, there's so many unnecessary blocks and missing functions it's bit of a crazy, even if they are a indie company imho.

Also "life support low" looks over, life supports at 75% -.-

The games good. I love learning the languages and snippets of the past, but it feels random with no real meaning. I want to learn more about the races and their traditions, what are the monoliths, why are they here, where have the races gone?

Animals, can scan them, great, but that's it :(. Why can't a breed creatures and study animals in more depth.

Why can't I  harvest plants from different solar systems and propagate them to create new  plants and discover rare liquids  to be sold a traded?

I want to explore and not follow the main quests, but my question would be is there a point? If I go and explore random planets, will I discover something or will it be the same as what I found on the last 100 planets?

Feel there is so much this game could do, but missed out on. I hope the updates and patches bring more or a feel this game will be nothing but a whisper on the wind by the end of the years, which is far from what I want.

you can use sweetfx as much as you like, the horrible low resolution textures wont get fixed on PC

they just didnt implement better textures because they ported all the trash PS4 data to PC

The game has 2.5GB , when i saw that at the 1st day when downloading, i known this game would look like trash.

no one can pack hires textures and a game into 2.4gb
