Got mine on order along with sony vr. 

Sold my ps4 for 200 euros along with two games.

its not a threat to PC gaming becuase the 4K is very likely not for gaming. Its very likely for movies.

unless you can find it explictly and clearly from Sony saying 4k is for 4k gaming and there is no hole in the logic and its painfully obvious then I would suggest its for video.

why? because technical folks I have talked to said its not possible with a box that size and power. physically impossible

Can't play anything without Sony's permission, too closed ended to be a threat to PC gaming.
