In a way having survival aspects only enhances the sandbox experience. Originally SOE intended to have this in swg back in 2003 with weather and hunger playing a factor in survival, but it was never fully implemented.

One knock against them is having to "subscibe" with an email that asks you to agree to emails from all of Snails games. Not sure there is a functioning website if you elect to do so but I won't be finding out.

Of course, that is a good point and I will "hold off" doing any purchasing until I see that stuff.

LOL, that caught my attention as well. I would certainly hope the phrase was meant as a means to tweak already implimented systems but I guess we'll find out. This is going to be an interesting EA to be sure.

Makes no sense to me

My guess is that there is no questing but if players demand it they will probably implement something. I'm not sure that's really the way to do it but "whatevs".

Yeah it was shut down in 2008, and it's based on the same game... I'm sure it will be the second coming.

Like you yourself mentioned in another post, what is listed is from a marketing brochure.

Furthermore, the English sites appeared to quote from a Chinese source using different translations, and those translations appeared to have inaccuracies and contribute to even more ambiguous phrasing.

Ah, it will be going the "Early Access" route !

That probably means they can sell expensive "Founder Packs" and other monetization strategies associated with EA launches. People love paying for the chance to be "first" in the game world...

Maybe they could shoot for the second company to offer early access DLC as well.
