Battlerite scratches that PvP itch

What can I say besides I am very much enjoying Battlerite.  It is currently listed on Steam for $17.99 (10% off) and early access, but besides cosmetics, the game feels very complete with a nice tutorial, practice modes, nice matchmaking, and balanced gameplay.

The game itself is an action rpg arena fighter that's very easy to understand (but hard to master).  Its from the same company that made Bloodline Champions and Dead Island: Epidemic.

This is what I was hoping D3's pvp would be like.

I went to its store page and saw "Overwhelmingly Positive" then I said "damn, there's not many game has that kinda rate.."

I think what it needs right now is better publication, so far it seems solid for me.

    10/10 would play this.

Thanks for the heads up.  I saw it in my queue before and passed right by it.  Upon your recommendation I'm going to buy one for myself and a relative who is way too in to MOBAs.  This looks sweet!

I played the beta and will likely buy it later tonight. To me and many others it's starting to look like a sleeper hit and very possibly the first moba to begin to threaten the "old guard". If you're worth your weight in League, DOTA2 or HOTS then Battlerite is the hottest spot in town right now. Since all abilities are skill shots and all the PvE has been removed, its literally the best test of skill in the moba genre.

Everything thats come before it suddenly feels like training wheels and now the truly skilled have only 1 option for a serious test of skill.

they got rid of funcom, released on steam right away, used twitch as a free advertisement platform and they streamlined and polished the hell out of the game. gameplay is the same (albeit slower) as BLC but the devs learned from their past mistakes.
right now, battlerite is amazing, fun and challenging. i usually stay away from early access but this one is well worth the small entry fee.

Are you onto something or just on something?

Been playing for the past few days. Incredible game, easily my favorite MOBA - strips all the boring grind parts out and gets you straight into round-based team fights.

I recommend it to anyone that like Arena-combat games and just generally likes to have a truely skill based challenge in a competitive game.
