As far as the wire/wireless argument goes - I even forget there are batteries in my wireless mouse since they last over a year.

The G900 wireless does outperform some of the best wired mice. Logitech has a video of it on their site. For e-sports, you obviously need a wired mouse due to the interference factor.

I just bought a G900, so my main mouse will still continue to be wireless. I'm excited that it's going to be so much lighter compared to my G700 that I've been using for so many years.

And for those that recommended the Zowie Camade bungee, I bought one of those as well for my G600 until a comparable wireless MMO mouse hits the scene.

Razer has a long way to go with their customer service, sensor research, and quality issues before they can regain their credibility. They're becoming like the small fanboy company with a small following while everybody else uses much better, longer-lasting devices. I.e., Logitech.

Has anyone here used both the deathadder (any version) and a naga (or naga hex)? If so did they feel the same to hold? The naga hex had an extremely comfortable feel for me, the raised back kind of filled my palm providing a lot of support so that I had no hand pain, and the buttons and mouse wheel worked really well.

I don't need all the buttons though so I am considering a deathadder (plus its about half the price of a naga hex where I live) if it has a similar ergonomic feel.

There is no way wireless is better with a mouse, use the best option, not the trendy tech option. Wired every time.
This isn't true. The G900 Chaos Spectrum and the G403 Prodigy were designed with gaming and wireless in mind not as an afterthought. They perform as good as any wired mouse. It's not just input lag, configurable report rate, variable fast dpi switching, configurable acceleration all perform and are specc'd as good as wired mice.

By using a wireless mouse you allow potential lag to creep into your setup. One thing I do not do if concerned I may be getting lag is check my mouse, if I had wireless I would have to check that out as well. No point in adding a potential weak link.

I really wish companies would stop making all of this wired crap. With today's technologies, wireless mice are just as responsive as wired. And with wireless mice, you don't have the inconvenience of the wire tugging, pulling or scraping across anything to reduce your accuracy.

I've just been in the market for a wireless MMO mouse. And the only real contender is the Razer Naga Epic Chroma. The deal-breaker with that mouse is the sensor used has forced acceleration, with no real 1:1 mouse:cursor movement. So, I had to buy the best wired MMO mouse: The Logitech G600. Thank goodness I don't need accuracy in MMO's where the wire will be slowing me down.

Outside of MMO's, I'm still using my trusty Logitech G700. Best wireless gaming+internet browsing mouse ever.
You cannot be a serious gamer from your comment.  Wireless mice work great for most things, but they become a huge battery eater when you play a lot of games.  I have yet to have a wireless mouse last a week and there is nothing worse than having your mouse die in the middle of a big fight.

So yes, real gamers use wired mice for a reason.

Personally, I use Corsair mice, they use a metal base instead of plastic and it makes a huge difference in the feel of the mouse.  Mine is 5 years old and never had one issue with it.

What I'd like to see: wireless charging capability between the mouse and mouse pad.
That's actually not a horrid idea.  But, we're close to power over wifi so it doesn't make sense to not just wait 3-5 years for that and not have to worry about where you use it in the whole house.

    Wired mice for gaming.
    Always.
The cable management required is minimal, and not worth mentioning.

Indeed, there are posters talking about cable management as if they have to juggle them while playing. :D
