Hello everyone.

Coming to you with offer to help me find a game. I have enough experience in MMO's but today seems ive got feeling like I played everything. Hope you help me to find something interesting.

Sci-fi its setting what I'm usually looking for. It could be anything - cosmic, post apocalyptic, futuristic, whatever...

Games where I spent some time, there is:

1) EVE Online - This is the best what I played. But you know, after about 4 (2008-2012) years of non-stop playing I'm tired of this game. This game ended for me. I loved there PvP battles, economy, corporation/alliance structures (was CEO and fleet commander). Had 4 accounts there, well, not a big deal for me. At least it worth it.

2) RF Online - my first MMORPG game. In 2007 at that time game looked great for my PC specs... lol. There was also nice battles between 3 races, also loved there ganking and PvP in different locations.

3) Perpetuum Online - when I left EVE, found something same like it. I don't care to be honest what ppl saying about stealing (I mean same game ideas like in EVE). This game could be fine, but... There is almost no players. I played like I'm last man in a desert. It was 2012 year.

4) Wildstar - the next attempt to find good game. Good setting, good idea, good graphics and concept. Well, when I played, I noticed PvP server was empty. I was surprised... why? I picked PvE server after then, but when I got last level 50, there starts stupid dungeons/raiding upgrading of my clothers and weapons, when I completed all dungeons, upgraded my gear/clothers and started go to raids, I have clear understanding: there is nothing to do in this game anymore. People just killing bosses for killing bossed without any perspective... Recently I heard this game changed to F2P, and was added to steam. Maybe worth to check PvP severs again?

5) The Secret World - that is also nice game. Good world, good setting... Spent there about 300 hours. There is the most beautiful storyline ever I saw. I completed all issues packs, but there is the same issue like in wildstar. After getting high gear there is nothing to do except running dungeons and raids...

Well, anyways I will be thankful for any recommendations.

Don't waste your time with this game.  Star Trek yes, Star Trek Online no.

Star Trek isn't without it's flaws of mismanagement, but not a bad time killer for not having to spend a penny to come to your own conclusion...

Unfortunately not too many great titles in general with a sci-fi theme. Just like the genre as a whole, would be to the discretion of the user. There are a few upcoming titles such as Exile Online or Star Citizen.

Might I suggest Firefall? I personally can't really get into it, but the animations are pretty neat, and has a few moments of fun gameplay.

Yea, waiting for Star Citizen too... But not sure if we will see release in near future :( Feels like no reason to buy alpha release now...

Firefall is a shooter, never tryied MMOFPS tbh. but I gonna look closer

Is the Skyforge contains only instance locations w/o own world like in Warframe?

    The Matrix Online...or..wait...

    Seems too old nowadays :(

Btw, what you think about Scarlet Blade? Looks fine to me, but no official servers left, only Vendetta Network holds last English server.

Gonna try Star Trek Online, SWTOR.

I probably must admit few things in a start post, but missed:
    - P2P, F2P is friendly. Not sure about P2W, but this isn't critical
    - Would be good to see open PvP model, if possible.
    - Game must be at least not older than 2010, or developers must upgrading their graphics...

Scarlet Blade was garbage. Just a game based on selling sex essentially. Gameplay was atrocious and clunky. Was shutdown and the company disbanded for good reason.

Star Trek Online is a not game I would recommend at all.  Instead consider SWTOR, a much better game which will immerse you much, much more.

Anarchy Online is by far the best SciFI MMORPG availble , altho long in tooth , its classes ,world ,crafting ,Lore and Builds are second to none .. Still has a dedicated community and good clans to be found ...They just added a graphic update last year which helped , for some people it looks to age ..

I enjoy fallen earth, bit dated in the graphics but decent character customization

Fantastic game. Definitely agree there. Would also recommend Elite: Dangerous (Also a flight sim) and Perpetuum (sandbox mech sim).

A question to the Anarchy players (didn't want to open a new thread) how is the new engine going? I stopped tracking it about five years ago when they initially planned it.

We're just putting the finishing touches on the latest version of Ferion, the current update is available at  https://ferion35.texorrium.com/  and is very playable!

It's 'Eve' like in so far that its a space based MMO, give it a whirl and let me know what you think!

Wait, wut? Like EVE because it's "space based?"

I am currently playing Ultima Online (official servers), and while its older, it still is updated and population is really active on Atlantica (dead on all the other servers)

There is even GM events (that modern MMOs don't have anymore) and player events for the various holidays. And an actual expansion came out at the end of last year, so the game is far from dead.

I highly recommend it, even though its old...has so much content and stuff to do. Been having a lot of fun with it

Project Genom is pretty neat.  one of the many 'not ready yet' games, so it takes a bit of faith that theyll do something with it.  however  even in its unfinished state, its pretty fun.

Elite: Dangerous.  Only spent a bit of time with this one (got sucked into overwatch and bf1), but liked what i saw.
