We always learn , but commenting like this without coming with a "fair" different point of view of what I was written above, doesn't make you .. better , or one who knows what I am talking about.
Reporter: What's behind Blizzard success, and how do you make your gamers happy? Blizzard Boss: Making gamers happy is not my concern, making money.. yes!

Gold Edition comes with the first 4 (paid) DLCs.
Or you can buy a basic edition for under $20 - its a huge game, lots of content.
The first 4 DLCs have also been released as a combo pack - c. 50% fewer crowns than buying individual packs.
And sometimes there are sales on crowns - as now. So combo pack + crown sale = c. 75% off.
The only DLC you would be missing would then be the most recent.
Waiting for a "sale"? Gold edition was like 34 at GMG. If you're VIP its only 26 for Gold and 14 for the original. I wouldn't buy the original though as you can't "upgrade" it easily.
OR if you own it... 23 bucks will buy all the DLCs with the crown sale going on.
But what do I know.
I will say, it brought me back and it seems I'm not alone. Some of these things are fun (stealing). Some of them I'm hesitant about (the level scaling).
We'll see. They have me for a month. Let's see if they can keep me.
There is something off with this game in general. The annoying UI, the drab gfx, questing (seemingly fixed the linear quest hubbing). The fake action combat. Please just let me do something other than quest.
I am waiting for a sale to buy on PC. Used to have it on Xbox, so don't really want to pay again
One Tamriel is what it needed from the start!
You can find the base game for as little as $10 and I have seen the Gold Edition as low as $40.
Hmm? Where do you see it anywhere for 10 bucks. I might try it again for 10 bucks since I have a new cpu and gpu since I last tried it.
December and January sales could start as early as November. Lots of holiday sales coming.

There are lots of achievements you can get for exploration and you could map out all the portals while doing it. The Werewolf and Vampire quests are fun now should be very easy as it's reduced to your current level.

I would have loved this game if it had more dungeons for more people, and if it would have had some of the vast content like Skyrim. The game herds you through its lands and you know nothing you are doing has any significance later.
One of the best character and combat systems I have played though. I felt it was so good that I wish they would just use that part as a base for a sci-fi game, or a fantasy game set in another IP.

Agree - there is no point waiting for a sale. If someone does want to simply buy the base edition it is easy to upgrade though - you just buy e.g. the 4 DLC combo or just the ones you want.
The base game is huge though so there is no rush. And I know Skyrim has a lot of content but I think @Atchlyte 's comment is a little sweeping. ESO is huge as well. And with this upgrade all the content is available from "day 1".
So they are trying to make it like GW2 has been for years?
It sounds like this to me as well. What makes it different than GW2 or even SWTOR's leveling-syncing zones?
They've been doing it this way for more than a year for any new zones and since the game launched for the PVP zone.
When they got rid of the mandatory sub and started selling new content as DLC they made all of the DLC zones this way so you wouldn't need to wait to be max level to do those zones.
They then changed all the 4-man instanced dungeons and trials to be the same way - they're all max level and if you're not, your stats get bolstered up to compensate.
This last update just did the same thing to the whole world and they got rid of the alliance lock in the PVE zones. Anywhere you go the mobs will all be max level.
GW2, OTOH, still has zones with level ranges and if higher level characters go to the low-level zones they get leveled DOWN - that's the difference. SWTOR I have no clue what they're doing now - it's been a while since I played it. But last time I was there they still had low level zones and faction separation in most planets.

Man! You really don't know the difference between ads in general ( aka banners , tv ads, etc ) and News paid coverage.
News paid coverage it's like there is this Tv station which covers for free News in general and someone comes to them and pay the News station to make an interview with them. THAT is ..pathetic. This shows that their product it's not doing good.
From my point of view ( and I do have experience in advertising ) , this kind of paid News is bad for business ! It's much cheaper then renting a banner spot for exemple, or a video ad on youtube or twitch. And when someone is cheap and doing bad advertising , well ... only ones in the business knows how that might turns out !
I am not expecting guys like you to understand this, so it's all good
Cheers!
LMFAO!! I don't think this lad ever felt how comfy sitting on school chair is.

In that case, ESO is more akin to Rift instant adventure, where your stats will be equalized with particular area you're running.
