This video is a perfect example for the term "easier said than done."

Pretty sure this is the main objective for most monetized F2P games.  How to bring the objective to fruition, however, is the "Million $$$ question."

    "Enjoy spending money"?? lol

I am pretty sure every single player would love to play games for free.

EVERYTHING developers are doing is to simply make excuses for selling crappy, buggy unfinished products.WE used to scoff at devs who did this, now they have the lame crutch ...but but our game is not officially finished,it is in early access ,early alpha.

Ok so remind me why you are asking money if you KNOW your game is an unfinished buggy mess?
Also missed by this video author is that devs do not NEED longevity because they are putting VERY little cost into their game while quickly luring players into spending money.KS's start attaining money without having a single iota of game design.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

"Screw you I'm done!" I still remember when I hit like level 14 or something the first night of GW2 and I needed a skill book. It was like 3 times what I had earned from questing and shit. About 3 weeks later I found myself buying WvW siege weapons thinking I was making some silver from bags when I was really just trying to kill enough to buy another siege. I threw my hands up "Screw you guys!"

    Bingo.

I've seen this video a bunch of times its been posted here a lot.

And every time I just chuckle... executing monetization correctly is incredibly difficult, otherwise every game would be monetized perfectly.

You and I know this but a lot of people just think "they are greedy" or "just lazy devs".

They have a lot of good videos and a few odd ones.   I highly recommend the Durlag's Tower series starting with this one:

Now here is a video for everyone.

    Its True....

    The difference between

    Pay 2 Win (P2W)
    Pay 2 Enjoy (P2E)
    Pay 2 Advance Faster

Black Desert isn't as bad as Archeage but it does suck that they have no freedom of market, and never enough costumes for sale or gifting because everyone has 20 million to spend on a costume );...

    Looking for better games );
