Any ideas when the Xmas sale is coming up? If you put a thread on their website asking about this, it promptly gets deleted. Understandable as to why they do this but damn frustrating. I think it started in November last year?
It's not even Halloween and you're looking for a Christmas sale?

I try to just keep my wishlist up to date and then wait for emails to tell me an item is on sale. But yeh, I'll probably end up buying more games than I need during the christmas sales.
Currently Playing: WAR RoR - Spitt rr80 Black Orc | Scrotling rr6X Squig Herder | Scabrous rr5X Shaman
Personally if i ran the Steem wesbite i woudl be banning anyone asking about xmas sales its not even november. In fact if i ran this website, i woudlnt' just ban people, i would put their picture on the wall of shame!
Let us have autumn before we think about xmas please
Screw that, where's the friggin Autumn and/or Halloween sales?! Also, get Razer Cortex, it tells you when games on your wishlist are on sale even on other sites such as Humble Bundle, BundleStars, IndieGala etc
I have some Early Access games on my whishlist and seems they will never finish. At least 2 have almost ceased updates.
I never play their early access games just like I never play beta's etc. Unless you simply want to save money and have no intention of paying for it I see no reason to do so. You will pay for the game and feel jaded with play much earlier. I on the other hand come in fresh, get the full features and have a much better game experience.
Yup, was having a look during my lunch break, all 18 games on my wishlist are discounted by at least 33%.
Gonna hurt my wallet a bit I think, especially as I had to buy a new car this month and xmas next month......but screw it, cheap games! Am thinking Anno 2070 as it's only £4 or Grey Goo for £6.
I keep getting tempted with TESO too, gold edition is £20 which sounds pretty decent, but then I remember I hated the combat and questing when I was in beta.
I wish there were more RPGs about that I liked. I don't enjoy CRPGs or ones with too much focus on story but those seem to be the norm these days. Anyone got any good recommendations? Preferably open world like Morrowind, or something with deep combat like FF7/8/9.

I now usually don't pre-purchase games most of the time the quality isn't there and it's usually a year before they get it to the point it should have been at launch.

Oh my... I think I may have already earmarked my end of year homeowners insurance refund check... Need to check on my wishlist!
All of my short wishlist are at 40% or more off. Although only three of them are looking at me with puppy dog eyes. Wasteland 2, XCOM: Enemy Within and Homefront the Revolution. COD Modern Warfare 2 is peeking around the corner. I'll take another look Monday and see if they are still so appealing.

I think the Xmas sale was pretty much the same as the late November one, the deals in both about the same?

This post is all my opinion, but I welcome debate on anything i have put, however, personal slander / name calling belongs in game where of course you're welcome to call me names im often found lounging about in EvE online.

Before, each day you would have different sales. I used to love that format and was buying stuff like crazy.
Now they have the same sales throughout the whole sale period. They simply highlight some each day.
