I need advice from you lot since you lot know it best,
i like mmorpgs i've played UO SWG and WOW i've also tried Linage 2. but none of them seemed to fit i'm currently still on WoW but i am looking for another mmorpg that feels right. i liked UO becaues of the community but thats gone down the drain AoS and all the other BS they have come up with now is ruining it now SWG, the CU and in WoW i feel alone it seems that the highler lvls have all the fun. it takes soo much time to lvl.
So what i'm asking is have you any reccomendations. if there is a game with emu and pie it would be the best game ever!

That's a tall order....
EQ2 perhaps has the best community right now, Lineage and L2 had a good community also but I do not know if it is still like that.
Wait until the next great MMORPG comes out and try that one.
Witty saying to amuse you goes here.
Really? Hmph. Most people find the levelling in WoW to be very fast compared to most other MMORPGs, at least until you hit 50ish.
It really depends on what you're after. For fantasy setting MMORPGs there's quite a few around ... EQ2, which has a good community, Saga of Ryzom, Horizons. For a change of pace you might like City of Heroes. If you like sci fi, there's SWG and EVE, if you like space. There are plenty of good games out there, but you have to be patient while you're trying to find the best fit for your own tastes.
There are so many games out there with great community. It is tough to keep track.
AO has a large low end community because of their free play option.
Ryzom has a great European community.
EQ 2 and EQ 1 have great guild communities.
SWG is growing again
A lot of the smaller games have really close communities. Horizons, Jumpgate, etc.
It seems like the real issue is not getting into a good or large guild. Most games have a lot of "end game" content and it will seem like they are having all the fun. Your best bet is to just find a game that fits your play style, and then find a guild (read: large guild) that fits your personality. Once you are in a large guild, the community and fun will happen. Usually a large guild will always have someone of your level, and in most cases they will have an ALT they are willing to play in order to get you up in level.

closest thing to old school UO you'll ever get is Irth Online.
Right now it has great, mature community and devs that are all UO vets and who listen
