No open beta, just sign up at the main site for beta testing and wait it out and hope you get in..

there will not be an "open beta" its pretty much as we are guessing it going to be alot of people invited from the beta signup list -SO SIGN UP- and dont miss your chance when and if they take down beta signups

Also do not get all exicted about the game yet,, im not holding my breath for the november release, or if it does happen it very might well be rushed. =we still dont know much about the game.. due to NDA but even basics like all thier racial info and classes isnt in yet for the webpage =just makes you wonder=

Don't listen to trolls, if that dude saying that really took your interest down that's pretty sad. If you listened to half the fewls around here you wouldn't play ANY game! Every game has some bored troll hanging around to slam it whever they get the chance, don't fall prey to their B.S.

But wait...he is right to say to not hold your breath....he's not saying that the game is going to be hopeless on release...hes saying what many many other people are thinking the same thing including myself. I myself don't like saying bad things about games, but I keep getting negative feelings at times about this game, but for all I know I could be wrong!

Reason being (and don't take me as a troll for this) but we can all agree that the devs have been really quiet these past few months. Very little has been released about what has been completed and whats ready. I think its maybe because they might have gotten bad feedback about some of the screenshots they previewed in E3 of the character models.. I might be wrong about that, but other ppl are assuming the same thing. Now I am hoping they are keeping hush hush cause they are going to throw us a big supprise a bit before november or sooner hopefully. Thats what hope I have...I look forward to the release of this game.

Anyway whats making this game not seem over hyped is my question...I don't mean to critisise the game....I just seek information about it. Please do say something here...I would just love to beta this game...help it develop and experience it first hand. Anyway post what you know guys to increase my hope

One of them was my co worker who saw it at E3, the other comes from a online friend of several years who is in the beta.  However you are right to a point, jhowever ai am not holding my breath in anticipation of release, and I would not preorder or even buy it first day for that matter. Time will tell,

If you consider a game beta an opportunity to play for free, then you have no place in a beta because that is NOT the purpose. But if you're willing to spend hours and hours testing features, exposing exploits and hunting bugs to report, then you're welcome to apply, and IF you're lucky you'll get picked.

So what if you don't have to hunt for the bugs, swarms of them hunt you? I have been in a quite a few betas, some are almost painful, others are fun, even in the feature testing stages. With  the release delays and lack of solid info from the Devs, I bet this is one of the really painful ones.

I beleive anyone has the priveledge to apply for an open beta last time I checked. As for their intentions if they get selected then thats up to them. However your best beta testers actually have something called INTEREST in the game, its the reward tradeoff for busting your butt and doing the work for free that they require you to do to participate in a beta.

I am quite sure he is happy that you not only approve but also welcome him to the beta though.
