I'm looking for an MMO with these specifications:
Non Tab Target
Ranger Class (Pet/Bow)
PvP &PvE content

Only thing I have found so far is GW2 that meets these. (Played Gw2 since release, and would like a change).

( I am also open to scifi MMO's as well, guns/robot pets.)

It's big for me to be able to name the pets, and take them into PvP with you as well. Which SWTOR/Neverwinter/AA/Wildstar does not allow.

Thanks for input. I tried black desert tamer, just not the type of pet class that is to my liking.

Can't say i am too surprised, the Tamer class in BDO is definitely one of the least fun, imo at least, classes to play, Ranger is good but, zero pets, and they just had awakened weapons which turns it into a melee class, all a bit rubbish imo but ymmv.
There is World of Warcraft, its not what it once was, and its more like Archer with a bag full of random beasts that you throw at the target every 12 seconds, all a bit ridiculous tbh.
If there is any game that has a ranger type class with pet/bow use, i would be interested myself, hopefully one that is not also gender locked.
Technically you could go sorcerer in ESO, and use a bow, and summoner spec, but, tried it myself and its a particularly unfun combination, maybe you could make it work, but i found it frustratingly limited.

Yeah WoW's combat is not fun to me at all. I tried ESO sorc, but I'm more looking for "normal" pets lol. Like wolves etc. Thank you for the comment!

FF15 Bard also with the Chocbo pet , fun game altho the Chocobo pet is not nearly as intuitive/interaction as say AC2 Ranger Pet is

Could be wrong, but FFXIV doesn't allow choco in PvP. Also, what kind of pets does AC2 have?

Well in ESO you can go Sorc and use a bow though their pets may not be what you are looking for..

I can't think of any none tab target MMO with a good pet class.

GW 1 & 2 are semi tab target, they are your best shot. MMOFPS games tend to have really bad pet classes.

ANd they are TAb TArget , but imo the best Ranger -Pet classes availble , and ive played them all .. The Engi in Warhammer is quite fun also , altho doesnt have nealry the mobility of the Squig Hunter

The ranger is more of a melee class than a ranged class. Half the skills are kicking skills. The other half only do damage if you get close. Even the awakening weapon is a melee weapon. If you want to play a ranged class, I wouldn't recommend this class.

Yeah if black desert actually had a true ranged pet class I would love it.

McDonalds meets the requirements for burgers.... doesn't mean you don't want to try a few other places to see which burgers you like better.
