It's not that I hate Blizzard, they've taken their design philosophy to a younger bracket, appealing to them and making shallower games.

... and is hard for me to believe that not 1 game from all of the 6 Blizzard games , you actually don't like because the design philosophy.

I mean, I am taking me as an exemple! I hate gameforge & aria games, I also don't like Trion at all. They can have the best game in the world, but I will not touch it if is published and/or developed by those 3 !

PS: I am wondering, how would you describe a "mature" game?! I mean, I have 34 years old and I play WoW, D3, Heroes of the Storm & Overwatch ( Hah! Not all of those in the same time . Just WoW now and D3+HoTs+Overwatch here and there! ) , and I find them pretty .. good for any age, not just my age, or "kids" age !
So .. let's see some "mature" games exemples here, shall we?
Here's an example you'll love, and a Blizzard game: Vanilla WoW
They've marketed to the filthy casuals, we all know it. People who play a game no longer than 30 min. Games that remind us of tablet play. Games that anyone taking a crap or smoking too much weed seem to progress through just fine. Sure they have colorful characters but it's not enough for those of us who enjoy having a little more thought behind our gaming sessions.
Happily playing Vanilla and BC WoW, again, since September 2016.
Blizzard's design philosophy is not as you expect,it is imo ONLY about budget game building,deliver a game that can operate cheaply. We have seen that Blizzard likes to fit into a market area,really a no brainer and expected from any decent developer.However it means they are likely copying or outright stealing ideas from other games.No biggie imo because other games likely have some good ideas and matters a lot if you choose the good ideas. However and why i made this point,Blizzard imo seldom does things better,it ALWAYS looks like they are cutting corners because every single day they hold something back is millions of dollars.
Overwatch was already taking in money when they only had 2 maps and VERY little going for the game but it proved that Blizzard knows how easy their audience is to sell to.Yes the game in a short time has grown leaps and bounds but as i mentioned,still lacks badly when compared the upper echelon.
Example Unreal/Epic,released a game engine and tools,it really gave an upstart to the modding community.Guess what Blizzard does NOT want,they don't want YOU the gamer creating content/maps,they want to SELL YOU that ..lmao,yep lame,cheap ,greedy all of the above.it also allows Blizzard to put out LESS effort when selling the game,instead they will work on selling you SMALL ideas like heroes,,cha ching cha ching and later on new faces,maybe new looks and likely some very cheesy small ideas.So other devs are selling full complete games,Blizz is nickle and diming it's fanbase.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
gonna give it a try again , tried it on beta and "meh" is fun ? yeah , for a while after playing it for 2h , i was a bit bored , tried all the chars and some were interesting ....in the end i decided it wasnt worth the money for me
