    Thats about $400 Canadian after tax. It depends on what else the switch can do. Can I watch movies on it? Can I use it for nextflix and youtube? Im in the camp of maybe.

    The system already has a huge backing. There will be many games to pick from.

    I don't value the portability of this "console" so can't see myself buying it. Voting with my wallet is sort of the only power I have to influence developers so I'd rather not encourage Nintendo to go down this route. 

    Zelda is going to be out on Wii U too, so I'll just play it on that.

    I recently got a job where I spend a total of 3 months out of the year at factories and 9 months at our home office. I also am predisposed to love portable systems, so at 214 USD I'll take it.

    Personally i thought the Wii U was a mistake, the Switch is more affordable than the PS4/XB1, but it doesn't really compare favourably with either Console, and for the price as a handheld device, i just don't see it, and while there is an interesting line up of developers that 'might' be supporting it, there is a huge question mark over which ones actually will and to what degree.
    As a mobile device it will probably do well, but i don't see it as a home console, there are better options, ones which have far more storage memory etc. than the Switch offers :o

    Yes i will buy it, after it gets some great Switch exclusive games that not even WiiU has although i am still worried that such a small console will not be powerful enough, maybe even less than WiiU. I hope i am wrong.

    No it is too gimmicky.
    It tries to be too many things, but I don't think it does anything particularly good.

    It's fine for families with young kids though, although with all those connecting parts I can predict this console will have some durability problems.

    The WiiU is definately a console, You can use the gamepad but you cant take it out of the living room without it losing signal, or play a game purely on the gamepad, you would need the TV as well.

    Nintendo generally have much better and more variety of Japanese games than English games.

    A lot of the good stuff are not available as English or western titles.

    You can Netflix on the Wii U and the 3DS. I would imagine you can on the Switch.

    It's way more powerful than the Wii U.

    I voted after Dec 2917 because I just dont have enough info. I would love to by it but I need to know what hit games it will get? Will it let me consume other media, other then video games? Most of all, how it preforms. Sometimes it best to wait for the 2nd gen of a new console. Also you get cheaper games if you wait.
