Dark and Light News - The Dark & Light team is teasing out a few more images via the game's official Twitter page. In the last few days, both the Elven city of Estel and the Dwarven enclave of Zaharul have had a single screenshot shown that reveals design structure around an entry point to each.

    Release in 3, 2, 1....and we're getting three more pics, probably heavily photoshopped as well.

    This game is going to drop as hard as the first one.

    Yeah, I get it, the graphics are nice. But how many people in single scene with reasonable fps can this game run is more interesting topic for me.

    I just have the hunch that these screen showing is just another diversion from more important subjects to discuss, such as skill/class system, political system, crafting system, et cetera, et cetera..

    If this game is being released to steam in the next few months, where are the game play videos?  Heck with silly screen shots, that is something you show when the game is in a basic design state.  

    Without game play videos, it seems logical to say that this game will crash and burn at release.  Graphics do not a good game make.

    Well, I suppose one could put it in perspective and say "they did age of wushu" so at least they can create avatars.

    So if it's on that level then that might give one an idea of what to expect.

    There must be a reason of why we don't have ANY video and the game is so close to EA launch... How many people do you think will buy a PL of this game because of the the hype without seeing a single video?

    MMORPG.COM shouldn't play along with this bs and support it in a way.

    Ask for some videos or otherwise worthwhile info..or ask them why we don't get to see anything. Let's be journalists here and not some advertisement tools.


    Posting pics  X weeks before a supposedly launch, come on...

    While excited for it; I can't stop helping how the game actually plays is very kept away from us; as looking for gameplay you find teasers; at least on my side, is there any gameplay shown or any preview?

    Seeing the dates given for when Early Access starts it really has too little shown.

    Have to say Snail is playing this one extremely close to it's chest, much to the community at large's frustration (myself included). Does anyone know if they have changed the "by the end of fall" early access date by chance? Kind of hard to determine what drives this marketing strategy, or lack there of, in regard to DnL. Is it fear of premature ridicule and judgement? Or is the company better prepared than we might think or realise? So much speculation. Maybe, just maybe, that is the aim of this minimalist strategy, to keep us all talking and paying attention? So I will say this again...A wise snail once said "How do you keep a bunch of assholes in suspense? ..."I'll tell you all later!" :P
