video card question

i heard a rumor that the nvidea cards have trouble running game. i have a fx5900xt ,256mb. is that good enough?

It should be good enough. I can run the game pretty much okay with an ATI Mobile Radeon 7500. I use my x800 pro to game though.

I just got a new comp when i got the game 2 weeks ago, I have 1gig of ram and 3.0gh processor but i havent got around to getting my new vid card.. im not sure what vid card is in there now..but im sure its a standard intel one.. and i can run the game with the graphix all the way up and the game looks BEAUTIFUL.. i can see the gleaming off of water,capes with gold on them and so on.. so im not sure its heavy on the grafix card..though i hope it looks even better running on the readeon 850x

You should have no problem running the game.

I can run the game on my laptop which has a 82855 Intel Extreme Gfx card in it. And it sucks, but it actually runs Guild wars pretty fine on a little lower than medium settings.

So I don't think you should any trouble with this game.

This sort of goes with the topic at least I think it does but anyway, does anyone have some lag type problems with the game?
