Great quests with professional voice actors? Interesting dungeons and trials with good mechanics? Great 3-alliance, DAoC-like PVP with lots of siege weapons and keep fights?

No.

This is why 300 people spent 6 years making ESO... so you can do this.

Enjoy!

I bought a ton and didn't get the Wolf mount I wanted, but I got some great costumes, an awesome electro orb juggling trinket, and tons of consumables. While I get not everyone likes these mounts, they look epic and the crates themselves are very fair in what they contain. RNG sucks, but this will make ZOS lots of money, and in turn it'll make us lots of content to come.

Strangely in ESO's engine GFX don't create much of a problem. But get a lot of people standing around in the same place doing nothing and you notice it... weird, I know.

ESO, so much potential down the toilet. I do like that they made sdome changes for the better, but that game is hard for me to play because I wish it was an inhabitable MMORPG.

This is like the people who parade their mounts in Orgrimmar, it's why people play MMORPGs to show off but showing off cash shop items is the new standard.

I just recalled how my husband camped an outfit in SWTOR on the marketplace and then he showed it off to me the person who never collects stuff except by accident. Needless to say he did not get the desired response.

I have seen many strike gold with multiple Apex / Legendary items in just a handful of crates while others claim to open 30 , 45 , 60 or even more and not get one. I opened 6 and got a cool memento that I wish was always activated and the gold guar mount. Overall I am pretty happy with what I got from my sub crowns.

The only thing that needs to change.. Crown Gems need to be added into the crates in bulk so players wont have to open so many crates to reach the gems required for the rarer items. I think it is ~50 crates to get 400 gems .. Way to many.

It worked that way for STO, TOR, and all the other F2P MMOs, didn't it?

I was there in STO and I can tell you, it surely did not.  All it did was bring on P2W to the max, killed PVP, once a year content drops if then, and low population.

I tried TOR about 4 months ago and it was a red letter day if I saw anyone else in the leveling zones.

I bought none, our guild cancelled our subs, and put back up my SWGEMU servers at just the announcement for these lockboxes.  Hope you spent a lot to make up for all of us.

I have no interest in anything in those boxes. I will keep sitting on my crowns unless I want to get a race change or something or some xp scrolls.

Ug, it's just like emotes in LoL. You can't give players something they can spam without cooldown... eventually people will become annoying.

I imagine it's just going to go further and further downhill as time goes on.  I'm trying to think of an MMO where greater revenues compared to that same MMO's prior revenues actually definately did result in a greater MMO and nothing really comes to mind (WoW included, really.  Even those that like WoW generally seem to agree that all its profits were NOT funneled back into the game).

    RNG box sparkle pony.

It was obvious that they would go this way when they introduced cash shop just before launch. The only thing that will ever come out of this is more cash shop items. What a shit show this genre has become.

"Hey look at the asshole on that horse"

Player gets off horse, walks to the back, lifts the horse's tail, has a good look then shrugs and gets back on horse.
