i think amd is comin out with the athlon64's pretty soon, i heard by the end of next month or this month, i forget. woot! take that intel!

The 64-bit CPU is such a new thing,  it will take time for everything to convert to the new standards.

Instead of having 1's and 0's as binary,  now it's 0's, 1's, and 2's.
