The WildStar team has posted an hour-long video from a recent live stream even in which Chad "Pappy" Moore and team took viewers on a tour of Winterfest. In addition, Moore reiterated how excited the team is for 2017 and what it has in store for the game.

Funny, the population has been steadily increasing the last month or so.  Not saying it's a regurgance or the game's savior but certainly helps.  The game is great, can't beat the truly skill-based combat.

I always feel sad when i see Wildstar videos. This game got a lot of things right but was let down by so many bad management decisions and hubris.
I stuck with this game for over a year and only finally left when the financial data left me with no hope of its future. Im actually genuinely shocked this is still running.

They actually did the best. it just didnt meet their (The bullies..) expectations- and actually- dotn care for their expectations with their hyperbowling tactics& forum bashing- sad.

To bad the combat system in this game sucks so badly. The game world is really one of the best.

Bullies? People were messed around a lot in early Wildstar. I know because i was there. I witnessed their hubris, their thinly veiled insults at other MMO's they deemed (not hardcore) and how they would close the game down before they would even consider f2p. This isnt me attacking Carbine, but i can understand why many people hold grudges against them.
A lot of people lost their jobs, people who did amazing work but were let down by a few people at the top who made mistake after mistake and have never been made accountable.

The devs of this game were so far up their own butts they couldn't smell the fire destroying everything. People begged them to reduce the frequency of the massive telegraphs and they refused which resulted in nonstop dodging till you develop carpal tunnel. People begged them to make the game less solo player focused during the leveling phase and they refused. People begged them to stop screwing with PvP rewards and they refused. It goes on an on. Long story short they ignored their community in favor of this "hardcore" mentality they focused on. Now all they have left is a bunch of people who like decorating their houses all day. How hardcore is that?

Lesson for ALL MMO devs. You focus on "hardcore" players and you end up like Wildstar. They excluded and ignored casual players. Now all they have left is a small group of casual players. GG
