I'm not at all that LOL type of guy.... but ........LOL!!!
How do you feel then in other MMOs, which have only ground mounts and at least 2x bigger zones?
Additionally, the map design for High Mountain and Stormheim isn't exactly ground mount friendly. It's pretty neat to do it the first few times, but when you're doing the daily grind, it becomes tedious. Even with Goblin Gliders from engineering, which is a life saver, many of these areas just suck. Having access to water walking for decent portions of Azuna is super helpful too. So glad my Shaman is an engineer.
Ultimately, Blizzard still hasn't figure out the whole "let's not make everything dungeons/raiding focused" after cap. The Suramar quest chain is a good start, but many just also hate the zone with a passion given the mechanics behind most of it. How they handled the dailies this time around was pretty good too. Since you only needed to do a few for the daily faction, but many more could be very rewarding in terms of gear/ap/crafting mats/etc.
Guild Wars 2 is still light years ahead of WoW in terms of things to do once you hit cap though. There's always something going on and/or something to work towards.
Ah I guess that makes sense for WoW as it's "journey content" is pretty much garbage, and it's environments forgettable.
Why does Blizzard even bother with all that then, when the world they've designed is the opposite of immersive. They could've easily developed a lobby based game where you just queue for dungeons/raids (Something like Destiny).
I loved gathering with him, went on for hours even when i didn't really need anything or had already much more than enough.
It had something relaxing to it.
This is the first expansion I have liked since Wrath, but in my old age, I just don't have the patients to grind anymore.
