"Ranged" would be Wizard/Witch or Ranger. Sorc's more melee than the other two. Especially with their awakening weapon. And kind of a hybrid pre-awakening.

Witch/Wizard post awakening are largely a close-medium range class. They still use their weaker pre-awakening skills, but their main offense is going to come from PBAoE and frontal cones with short-medium range.
Witch is a little more defensive, and Wizard a little more offensive. People on the forum are currently crying because Wizard's ult can 1 shot undergeared people.
Gender locked games Personally I just couldn't get past it.
I cannot either. But the creation customizer in this game allows you to create masculine looking characters who can dress in a masculine style.
Well I tried to create a masculine looking ranger..and I was wrong. You cannot flatten the chest to any significant degree and the shortest hair styles are still feminine.I was wrong.Yes...I have stopped playing my 7 day trial. I refuse to identify as a female.

Do you have to "identify" with a female? Can't it be a character? I don't "identify" with any female character I play.
Do you have a sister? Good female friend? Think of the character as that.

Not to plug my own site (its in my sig anyway). But I don't have the screenshots anywhere else of my Ranger
That ranger doesn't look very feminine to me. More very elf-like, but in a realistic kind of way. She looks female (since ranger IS female), but not the typical female that is seen in BDO.
My witch is there too, but I like how my Ranger came out a lot more.

Sorry still looks female and strangely like Kirstie Alley!

Of course lol. The ranger is a female in BDO, so of course looks female :P But not so feminine (at least to me she doesn't) or asian-esque as many of the other characters people make.
But to me, feminine looks really girly, flashy with no substance and not fit for combat. Which like in WoW, I'd consider both blood elf females and males to be very feminine and look (in appearances) terrible for actual combat. Where as, Night Elves look a lot more combat ready, and both genders of Night Elves in WoW are not very feminine to me.
