Bonus Question: Are we to expect at least 100 players on a server? (for mass PvP goodness) Also, how many total players can Funcom's servers handle? That is to say, if a million players want to hook onto the "official" servers will this be possible? or will some be waved away?
1. We know that the weapon and equipment degrades from use (even the brutal air takes it toll on the weapons!), will we be able to repair the items or is it just a use and replace system? Also, does the effectiveness of the item degrade as well?
2. In the future updates, will there be some version of enchantment/imbue system for the items we craft? And if so, please give some consideration to having rare materials drop throughout the world that will need to be gathered for this mechanic.
3. Could we see a special trainer that would randomly spawn in the world to unlock new skill? Random so we can not just go to some website and find where to unlock say, whirlwind strike...also make it so when he teaches someone he then either moves and/or not appear for X amount of days. Keep things rare and interesting out in the world.
4. In one of the videos we saw target practice with a bow, will this also increase your skill in the ability?
1. You can repair items. they will not lose effectiveness but will be as new once repaired. 2. Possibly 3. Skills will be more likely be things we unlock on special wepon recipes and types. Recipes can be learned from NPCs in the world. 4. No, this does not increase your ability!
How Does the religion system work? Will it be a simple tribute for favor type system or something more complex like requiring worshipers of a particular god to behave in a certain way (for instance Yog followers being forbidden from eating plants and only being allowed to eat meat)? Do all members of the tribe need to follow the same religion?
You can worship multiple gods. For EA launch it is a simple system that requires using certain religious items to perform certain actions.
Later during early access, we will add doctrines, which require you to act a certain way for a period of time in order to earn favour.
Tribe members can worship different gods BUT Mitra hates other gods and will demand that shrines to other gods are kept far from his shrines and he will also restrict you from building near his sacred statues.
When I talk to my friends regarding this game, Ark Survival always comes up as a subject, not quite sure why. I do agree they have some similar attributes but I still do believe they are two very different games, but perhaps I'm the one who's wrong.
Could you tell me how/if this game differentiates itself from Ark Survival Evolved?

Will you guys be doing at least one more stream before early access launch and will it be about the cave/ruins aspect? It'd be great to see the tweaks to combat and to get a taste of what the ruins and caves hold and how corruption plays a role for the character after. Can you tell us more about the magic user's in the game? More specifically would I be able make a "crazy-wizard woman" very much like the The Wizard from the Conan the Barbarian that was played by Mako?

No we have no restrictions on who can join a Clan.
I have a few questions about the private/ custom servers:
1) Will we be able to rent private servers directly from you? I would prefer to pay money to you as developers and with that support the game development instead of third parties. Plus you are already running the official servers so expertise and infrastructure should be already in place.
2) What are the required & recommended specs for private servers? (Hardware & Software)
Will there be any kind of currency or will we have to barter? Or - to put it in another way - will there be any crafting-skill that inables a player to convert materials in coins?
You will not have access to currency at Early Access launch. We do have plans to allow merchant thralls in early access and we are considering allowing clans to make their own currency. Hope that helps!
First I want to start by saying I do intend on buying this game and playing it until my eyes bleed. I have played a few different survival games, as well as other pvp games over many years. I am still looking for that game that just satisfies my hunger for video game violence. Now with that said, Conan Exiles building system reminds me of ARK's; You craft then place. Why not, as I call it, use the build as you go system like Rust? In other words, with the materials on your person you select a wall, window, etc., and place it how and where you want? Lastly you upgrade your materials from there. Your current system of pre-craft takes more time with farming, planning, and building along side mountains. The build as you go system would be perfect for this. Are you concerned that there may be copyright or infringement issues using the build as you go style? If so then I get it but the game already has common mechanics from other games like ARK. Last question, is there a way to upgrade from the buildings from a tier 1 to a tier 2 building? Can you skip tiers like jumping from tier 1 to tier 3?

Exiles is more in line with the norm for this genre, with a particular focus on the up close and personal that you'd expect from a barbaric universe!

Its possbile for a small group with thralls to keep a base, or the thralls system will not be a kind of strategy game?
