In-game silver you say. Is that the in-game coin you buy for real $?

Other people can buy items with Pearls (RL money), and then sell them on the MP for silver (aka the game currency that you get from killing mobs, selling loot, etc).
So in other words, you can get it for "free". Provided you're lucky enough to find someone selling it.

This. It will take you several attempts before you will be able to buy one as they are sought after, but as I said I managed to get 4 so far, so not impossible.

Warrior regular armor is pretty boring for example.
Good thing is that you can now acquire Costumes on the Market Place for in-game silver.
But yes regular armor generally sucks.
