You die, you have 6 minutes or so lying there waiting for someone to ressurect you (I wonder how the ressurect powers will work). You can either wait those 6 minutes to get ressurected, or release to the nearest temple. In case you happen to be too close to a temple already, you won't respawn in that exact one, but the next one down the line (similar to how graveyards work now).
Once in the temple, you are in Crow form and have 2 options: possess a basic white vessel of any kind available at that temple, or "summon" the original vessel you died in at the central statue.
They also said there will be a minimum amount of time that must pass in between dying and being able to summon your vessel at the temple. That is to avoid the situation of simply releasing early and summoning your body asap to avoid being fully looted. I hope this time limit is long enough so that it will also prevent you from returning to the fight before it even finished depending on the distance of the temple (this is the situation we have in Big World right now, way too many GYs/temples, ppl who died get back to group fights in less than a minute).
I also hope you have the option to set a certain temple as your "default" respawn location (such as the temple you built inside your guild's city), so that when you release after death, you have the option to either go to your default temple, or the one nearest you.
Also from the stream: Sieges might have specific respawn rules,
probably similar to what we had in Siege Perilous (respawn temple for
defenders won't be inside the castle for example)."
