I hope we get to see BW shine with the benefits of EA's resources and the allowing BW to tell their story.

To me, EA, represents quality and stability in the game engine. Thats something BW can benefit from.

Mass effect andromeda will be the prime example of what EA has to offer for their subsidiary companies.

Can I quote this when Mass Effect Andromeda turns out to be a watered down corporate turd devoid of inspiration?
You people really need to let your hate of EA/bio go. You guys act like EA/bio is an old Gf/Bf that broke up with you ten years ago and you still haven't moved on from them.

So it will be a multiplayer game ("bring players together"). Does the background picture of their note give any hint ? Looks futuristic. Or is it just some MassEffect screenshot.... not much info yet. But ARPG, yeah, not really a new concept, but who knows. So let's wait and see.

When the Sun begins to Rise, we don't know what it is!

When Dawn comes, its a AAA+ games

When Noon Comes, its a C+ game

When Dusk Comes, its an F- game

When Night comes, all servers close and everyone forgets about it!

That pretty much sums up Bioware, who everyone tries to figure out what each of their games are to get the hype meter up. Then when the game comes out, everyone buys it and says its AAA+++, then over time people figure out its really a C+ game, but its too late! They have already cast their AAA+++ vote and the honeymoon is over. Then after a few months to maybe a year, we find that all the Official DLCs combined cost more than the actual base game itself. Then pretty soon, everyone forgets about the existence of the game except the die hard fans of it....

    Example was Dragon Age Inquisition....

Sorry, but to me Dragon Age Origins was amazing...

Even so... both games are forgotten games.

DA Origins is amazing..and DA:I is a good game not better than O.. but still a good game.

Wouldn't it be great if they redid DA:O in frostbite and gave it the DA:I combat system.  I would buy that in a heart beat!

Lets hope not. DAI combat was woefully simplistic, limited, and down right boring. Redo it in frostbite, but leave the combat and full tactics alone. They could put in DA2 combat and tactics and I would be fine with it.

As with any game that comes from a EA company, I will have to take a wait and see approach. The the Head of Bioware is coming from the Mobile gaming and was also with Warner Brothers when they took over Turbine with Lord of the Rings online and helped create it's heavy handed store. This doesn't give me a warm fuzzy for the future of Bioware.

I'm not an IT Specialist, Game Developer, or Clairvoyant in real life, but like others on here, I play one on the internet.

    Original EA motto:

ABOUT OUR COMPANY: We're an association of electronic artists who share a common goal. We want to fulfill the potential of personal computing. That's a tall order. But with enough imagination and enthusiasm, we think there's a good chance for success. Our products, like this game, are evidence of our intent.

It's not a ARPG, it's an action-adventure with character/story progression. EA is really trying to not pin that game into the RPG category for some reasons.

A few person, myself included, believe this is a reworked Shadow Realms game. It was cancelled in Feb 2015, but before Shadow Realms was announced as cancelled there was rumors it was rebooted into something else after a few EA mp games failed. Shadow Realms was to be a co-op 4v1 game and it's cancellation was announced right around when Evolve (another 4v1 game) released in Feb 2015 (and flopped).

That would be nice, but I would be expecting a few new companions/romances and side quests to go along with them.

The combat in DA:I is terrible. DA2 had nice action-y combat, and DA:O had the tactics and full control. DA:I combat is like they tried to mix the two, but took the *worst* things instead of the best.

About the new game..well, given that hardly anything is know, there's not much to talk about it. Even the genre is a bit unclear, and what exactly they understand as a "ARPG" or "action-adventure" is also muddy, given that they didn't really do those.

I'll wait to the day's end when the moon is high
And then I'll rise with the tide with a lust for life, I'll
Amass an army, and we'll harness a horde
And then we'll limp across the land until we stand at the shore
