Activating dlc

in Elder Scrolls Online
does it yield advantages to activate dlc like the thieves guild and the dark brotherhood directly from the start (returning player with new character). Or does it only work for high level characters?

    Thieve's guild yes. It gives you access to treasure troves in all zones that often have some good stuff in it. You can't loot those at all if you don't have the DLC.

    Yes activate them, you do not have to go do those areas or quest yet if you prefer not to.  But if you want to level up those particular skills like thieves etc...you want to do it sooner than later.

    I was back for awhile before getting into the DLC at level 42, created an alt and headed straight for Thieves.
