Question on re -installing the game

I played this game very little when i first got it and i quickly cancelled my account. I have the discs and after reading that the game has gotten a lot better i plan on starting up again. Will i be able to just re install it and subscribe to it. Also will i be able to get a free trial. Thanks

resubscribing is easy, you can just reinstall and subscribe, but you wont get the 30 day trial period new players get.  the cd key from your set has already been used on your account from however far back you originally played.

 

if you want the expansions, buying RotW will get you JTL as well, but you are looking at a looooonnnng download to get up to date.  if you indeed want the expansions, i would suggest picking up SWG: Total Experience from a local store, it costs just a little more then the expansions themselves do and since you will be able to start a new account with a new key, you'll get your 30 days.  also, the boxed set comes with the uber cool BARC speeder.  the d/l version comes with the Varactyl mount.  BARC totally PWNS.

If you are not too attached to your characters of old, I would suggest getting SWG: Total Experience. I did the the download of ROTW. It is indeed a long download and the Varactyl is teh suxxors.

If you ARE attached to your old characters you can always register the TE as an expansion under your old station name. It'll just add Total Experience as an expansion for you and you even get to get the BARC as well... I think you even get the free 30 days if you don't re-activate the game before you register the game as an expansion. Not sure on that.
