I find a large number of these to be very appealing, in particular the night scenes as I feel they have a better use of lighting.

For 8bit art, this is incredible due to the high resolution! You don't know what you're talking about.

On real 8bit consoles this kind of detail was actually never possible due to the incredibly low resolution.

its impressive what they did with that, but, its not good enough to be used in a game, their artistic talents would be better utilised on something a bit more 'up to date', unless of course, that is the limit of their ability O.o
