Console peasantry were the only ones keeping Gamestop in business anyway. The PC master race hasn't had to stand in line to buy a game for years now. As soon as consoles join the rest of us in the 21st century Gamestop will go the way of Blockbuster video. RIP.
I walked into Gamestop in a small town nearby since they were having a sale, and saw the clerk getting it on with a dude...both were guys
I didn't report it cause I actually don't care what people do and I don't get offended easily. So if they wanted to get it on in middle of the road, I couldn't give a shit. People get offended too easily. But I still walked out after putting the cash on the counter and still walked out with my game lol. I didn't have exact cash, so they got an extra couple dollars from it since the game was 15.99 and I only had a 20.
That was some years ago, but that is my most memorable gamestop trip lol.

Thats funny you mention that...The game stop near me has a transvestite working there (or a man that had a sex change operation I cant tell the difference)...Anyway they never have anything in the store worth a dang anymore so if the whole chain went under it wouldnt bother me.

Yeah but current console is limited by it's out of the box storage size. It's not really cost effective to buy the top of the line system with the largest HD, but if you want a lot of digital games you will be forced to do so or buy external storage or do a lot downloading and uninstalling. Games are only going to get larger in format too; so I guess MS stands to make a killing off larger systems with larger storage.
Nintendo it seems has jumped on the bandwagon, games for the Switch are not transferable between devices, so no resale market for switch games, thats got to hurt retailers like Gamestop as they don't tend to make much if anything on new games sales. O.o
edit. Seems its just save games not the games themselves.. doh!
