Ragnarok Journey is the latest sort of "remake" of the original Ragnarok Online. Played entirely in the browser, it turns out to be a faithful recreation of the original. But note to prospective players - turn off the auto-pathing if you want to actually play the game.

Unfortunately, every browser game is guaranteed to be P2W.

I was expecting P2W and nothing amazing, but still was disappointed, pretty sure the game could have been better, even for a browser game. It asks for diamonds (P2W currency) for pretty much - everything -.It's very buggy, the UI is terribad. I just wanted a silly RO-related game to play (for nostalgia), but definitely this is not it. Another disappointment after Tree of Savior.

Quality? There is one event that you get more XP/Rewards being AFK than killing mobs, literally AFK, not even auto-playing. The wings are ugly and reminds me of private RO servers owned by 12 years olds. Very poorly designed.

Sorry, even with low expectations and a long time RO fan I can't agree this is one of the best browser games. I think even Neopets is better.

Tree of Savior is a pretty decent game, though. If I were looking for something like this, I'd definitely go back there.

Mechanically it's decent and pretty cool. But it has so many problems that I don't really want to deal with anymore.

Tree of Savior tried to do a lot of things differently from what most MMORPGs do.  Whenever you try that, you'll have some parts that end up not working very well.  But I still think it's a pretty good game.

...couldn't even get it to work.
    You didn't miss anything.
I stopped in Ant Hell and it's pretty much like this:

    -kill 5 Andre
    -kill 5 Vitata
    -kill 5 Andre Eggs
    -kill 5 Giearth
    -move to the next zone

The whole game seems to work like that.
It's really just a slideshow showing places you used to farm at 14 years ago.

The one place I would like to see again is Glastheim but there is no way I can stand this game long enough to make it that far.

    LMAO

I find the pc game to be trash,so how could i possibly think a bad game would be better on mobile, not happen

Ever since i saw Epic Citadel,i thought hmm maybe there is hope of quality on mobile.Well that is Epic a real quality business.Since that time a number of years ago,i have no seen one single mobile game that is of quality .I guess in reality mobile games don't need to be good, most people treat their phones better than their children and buy all kinds of stupid stuff for it.

    |There is only one game that will be of quality and so happens by the biggest developer on the planet in co-ordination with another giant Nexon.I have no doubt at all it will be the first triple A game on mobile. However seeing the absolutely retarded cash shops on mobile games tells me this Nexon offering will be loaded with over priced cash shop items.

So to get a triple A game as well at a reasonable cost to play will be many more years waiting.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

The article doesn't say anything about it being a mobile game. It's a browser mmo.

Tree of Savior is a fun waste of time.

Any mmo worth its salt should be like a good prostitute when it comes to its game world- One hell of a faker, and a damn good shaker!
