Hi All,
So we finally made it, our own forum on mmorpg.com - w00t!
I thought it would be cool to get your reactions on what it is about the game or the devs that makes this game feel so special, as it does to me, even in it's pre-release stage.
For me it's the existing community, I was kind of interested when I 1st heard of Gladius Online, I hung around the forums for a while & never really posted, then I forgot about the game. Fast forward to 2003 and I hear about Roma Victor, check it out and it's the same game but different name. I've visited the RV forums everyday since then for over 2-years.
I've learned so much from the community (much more than from history lessons at school) and have met many friends who I believe will be friends for life. Quite a few of us have met up socially and are in regular contact, I'm amazed all of this has happened to my real life while in pursuit of a virtual ancient life.
Thanks RedBedlam, thanks to the RV community and thank god I found this game when I did - now hurry up and release it will you. j/k

What I love about it is the fact that its gonna have an awsome PvP and a twitch-based combat system and no weapon is much better than another
Hell, even just the simple fact of no heal spells during combat sells me! =D hehe.
Yes, the twitch combat will be an awesome change. Skill over gear etc. A rusty bronze blade can conquere a steel plated Gladiator if in the right hands.
The immensity of the skill tree. Any number of us could form a fully subsistance-orientated community if we wanted to roleplay it. Which could eventually grow into a city with ambitions to conquere Rome herself... *grins*
Man, could just go on forever :P

Oh. My. God.
Oh Man! Where to start: -
Twitch-based combat - real skillz in an MMO
Intensive crafting system - I can really farm chickens in a virtual world
The historical setting - who doesn't want to experience the virtual Roman Empire
I could go on, the community r0x0r and the devs are really a part of that community and we're one big, happy family (most the time)
But simply - it's unique! Like no other and I like that ALOT
