Why not play something you think is actually fun instead of being "uber wannabe owner # 2399392"?

Anyway, a shadow priest is near invinceble when played right. Hard to master class though I heared and won't get really strong untill the high lvls. (Added bonus is that you're needed in almost every high lvl raid group. So you wont have a hard time finding a group)
After that rogues are great since you can pick your own fights and get away from danger and deal massive burst damage with stealth-opening moves.
Shamans are good too with their balance between healing and dealing damage, low mana pool though. Easy to play class.
Warriors are good too since they can deal quite a lot of damage when they get close and have a lot of HP + Armor.
Mages and hunters then are great at staying away from people and dealing lots of damage at range, hunters can be very strong but are also very hard to play right.
Druids are good since they can just stay alive for like... forever, they just kill someone by outliving him while damageing ^^ Paladins are about the same as druids with being able to stay alive a loooong time with the god-shields.
Then the warlocks... CAN be very strong, I've seen some killer warlock PVP videos. But are the toughest to be played right and suffer from the dreaded soul shards... Respect to you if you manage to be a great Warlock pvper.

    Haha, hope that helped.

I hope you get my point that there is NO best class, every class has the potential to be the "best". Just try out some classes that appeal to you and stick with the one you like most.

Flych - 70 Blood Elf Retribution Paladin - Tarren Mill (EU)
Mediocre - 70 Undead Discipline Priest - Tarren Mill (EU)

Like he said, warlocks can own if you know how to play the class. If you dont , you can really suck and be the worsed at pvp. Id say with my undead warlock I rolled over 90% of the people I came across one on one, sometimes even one on 2. If you like a challenge and like a caster type class , try warlock.

If you just want to be good with no effort, try ice mage , rogue, shadow priest. Now Im not saying it doesnt take skill to play those classes, just that if you cant play it well---you should still be decent in pvp. Unlike warlock, if you cant play the class you will just point blank get stomped in the ground.

But like he said also, play what you like----no class is really bad at all. ANd with Blizz nerfing all the classes--that one you picked may not be so uber later anyway. Then you would be stuck with an average pvp class and a class your not really into playing.

Can't believe no one mentioned "he got to be killed 3 times" paladinsimage

Anyhow just play something you enjoy as in one way or other there is always a class that can kill another and its about group pvp nowadays.

Whan I started in WOW I messed around alot with different builds for a couple weeks before finally finding a mix toon that I felt seemed interesting.

Which happened to be Warlock...lol. Yes Warlock is a tough build. From what Ive seen, Warlock dosent realy come to its own untill it gets to around lvl35 and you have to be very careful where you spend your special points. It appears that avoiding affliction and spending wisely between Demonology and Destruction is the way to go. I dont duel much, but last time I did at lvl20 I dueled a lvl 12 undead mage and got my butt kicked...lol
