Mordhau is a multiplayer medieval fighting game where fights range from duels all the way to large, open battles of up to 64 players with horses, siege engines, and castles to be stormed. It features a skill-based free-flowing combat system that is easy to learn, but hard to master.

    huh, I actually like it. I like that you can only see "where you can see" and therefore you need to position yourself so you don't get attacked from the back.

    I'm just not sure this would hold my attention as it seems like it's just fighting on maps.

    The game looks good but it seems like the only thing that sets Mordhau aside from the other games like this is the skill tree. That's just a tad discouraging...

    I agree that medieval FPS combat is a turnoff. However, after experiencing how well Chivalry did it, I've been dreaming of a full-blown MMO with this style of combat. There is so much more than just moving in and out while swinging your sword. So much more skill is required.

    Sadly once Bannerlord is out I will forget that this exists.

    I enjoy fps  pvp,imo the only way it should be done because it is a realistic way of pvp when compared to some FAKE camera in the sky that also allows you to see around corners.
    However a Medieval type game,no thanks to that,super boring,like put m to sleep long time boring.
    This is simply some developer jumping on a ship that has just sailed by.That tells me there was VERY little work put into this game to try and catch up to the bandwagon crowd so quickly.
    Geesh Sony's version lasted about 2 weeks and pretty much disappeared off the Twitch scene.
    How much skill is there to learn in a hack n slash system?Swing sword,miss with sword,swing again,HIT !!,10 players coming at you ...RUN AWAY.

    Mordhau has both first person and third person perspective.
    They just put it on steam so its getting closer yaaay.
