Let us know what you think of it.

I already played the normal LiF for long, so it's still that game with the ofc much larger scale of players, persistence, and size of the world. I think on MMO specific features we would mostly talk about a more complex guild system with kingdoms and several types of claims, guild vs guild battles and siege. Then the minigames, politics, and trading.

But overall if you like LiF and would like some MMO of it, that's pretty much what it is, the biggest thing that attracts me on the MMO is that the servers won't reset the maps every now and then.

I'm almost afraid that the map will not be large enough judging by the experience from lif yo servers.

We can infinitely expand the map as needed.

Keep adding starter areas and such to let new players flow in without facing one game world already mostly controlled where it would be too hard to rise against the current powers in control?

You will begin your adventures in one of the main starter cities. You will even be able to rent lots there and build structures. These holdings will be seigeproof, but for a price.

Just picked up a Zealous believer package! 22% off until may 15th. Can't wait to check out the improvements today. Really hoping they fix the fps issues. Besides that I loved the game last beta.

    I7 990 4ghz
    nvidia gtx 980 overclocked
    24gig ddr 3 ram

My system is a bit dated but some areas were pretty bad. If they optimize and fix fps this game will be my home for years to come :)

I ended up winning one of the 100 keys. I'd like to know how many people entered so I can see how lucky I am but if I had to guess, thousands of people entered. Thats nuts I didnt think I would win.
The acronym MMORPG use to mean Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game.

But the acronym MMMORPG now currently means Microscopic Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game. Kappa.

Didn't win. Was given one by the PR company though. Perks! We make little money, but at least there are free games!

Is this the Beta owners of YO get access to, or is that one still a ways off?

Well, I lead a small group of people from various timezones building a village with a view to RP rather than hardcore PvP. We are not in any rush to level up skills and are just taking things at a relaxed pace. We need recruits if any of you will be playing in the Beta this time and want a friendly group to join.

No, this is still Wave 1 Beta. YO owners get access at Wave 2. There is still due to be at least one more two week session after this one, and there will be at least a month between sessions, so Wave 2 is still at least 2 months away.

So I received a key, and I downloaded and installed game and setup account and everything...are the servers not up yet? I'm not seeing much communication from their side.

Did you join the discord server? https://discord.gg/TtX2g

This is where we communicate with the testers.

We just made an announcement on the status of the test.

After watching this video, and not ever following this games development. I'm amazed at how much this 10 features list reminds me of Wurm Online, developed by Notch back in 2006. Though I didn't start playing it until 2008. Well if everyone is going to try and copy Minecraft, they might as well try and copy Wurm Online as well then.

This might seem like an ad for WO, but it's not. WO is an old sandbox game, and looks it. Playing for free is hard, and they are separate from the subscription players. The Mob density was designed to be realistic, meaning I saw 1 mob per day. But if you have ever been to a National park, this should be the same. I didn't travel very far from the starting point (0,5 mi^2 + 1mi/week), If I had that mob count would have climbed.

As someone who has played and subscribed to every Sandbox developed, I can tell you that I am seeing nothing really new here. Except better textures, I noticed some poor horse animation in that video.

F2P means you get what you paid for. Pay nothing, get nothing.
    Even telemarketers wouldn't think that.
It costs money to play.  Therefore P2W.

It is a little more in depth that your description. Here is some great information that even mentions wo (we also do not have a ui text based combat system). We have played almost all these games too and have learned their shortcomings as well. Instead of complaining about them we built a game. Life-is-Feudal-like
