Well, for the question at the end, I'm in the latter group (as in, loathe what Firor does under the name ES  ) so I probably won't check this non-expansion either.
The video on the other hand was cool (heh) as usual, especially the icy puns :awesome:  funny that you still don't like bears, I thought the beorning beorning helped on that issue...
(and on a sidenote, you totally should give a try to Morrowind, it's great. Just sayin'...)

Hiveleader always cracks me up. I may not play the games he reviews but the videos are worth a watch every time.

Agree about the OP start of the class and the nerfing of the other classes just to sell more copies of the expansion. I played the original and found it interesting but never finished it. I got hooked on Oblivion and Skyrim which were much better, imo.

    Awesome video!

If there was ever an island that needed both a sausage and a beer named after it, Vv is it.

That's amazing the way they upgraded the graphics but kept the feel and look of the place.

I was actually gonna do something similar (since I didn't play ES3) but simply didn't feel I had the necessary time to put in to it. I saw this vid after I finished mine and was "Oh... Well there you go."

I can neither confirm nor deny that this is indeed the case.

Considering the hundred of years between Morrowind (the game) and when ESO is happening, It's surprising stuff are exactly at the same place.

But they did better job than a lots of games that have sequels set a few years appart that looks totally different...

I find it not to be the same in most places... 2017 version has much more life and the buildings are "whole". the 2002 version is darker, more ruins, less life, more grey. I mean thats my observation

Both. It's an Ultimate that stays with you.

So did they bring back those pesky cliff racers as well? I had to mod those things to not be so annoying back in 2002.

Vvileforumposts(eso) - sometimes these forums have their downsides. But even the worst ones here pale into insignificance when compared with the sheer hateful bile on the eso forums when referring to the mechanic changes that Morrowind introduces.

I expect a degradation in chat when there's a fair element of pvp in a game, I played Aion and still do now and again. But the level of toxicity in the eso forums is enough to put you off the game for life.

I don't agree with the direction the development team take with this overarching resource control, I feel escalating content should be the measure. But there's just no reason for the reactions seen on that forum.

On a different topic: One of the perennial problems the development team will always have is the never successful marriage of pvp and pve class skills/abilities.
Their class mechanic adjustments over the years have swayed often unsuccessfully between catering to either one group or the other.
They would be far better in differentiating pvp and pve mechanics. The often used method and pretty well accepted, is to separate pvp/pve gear/weapons, with the associated different stats.

Until that happens Zos will always be caught between a rock and a hard place.

Another great Hive video. But i quit playing ESO and won't be pulled back into it over Morrowind. ES3 was my favorite TES game and would rather go back and play that over anything ESO does. I can't stand the gameplay or community in ESO. TES games should stay single player.

Wow, that couldn't have been any less informative than if I stared at a blank screen for twenty minutes.

I've always liked his videos but he starting to rehash the same old humor reskinned for different games. The late night talk show host model.

    Hive needs new material.
