Destiny 2 wowed me last week at the official gameplay reveal in Los Angeles. I mean, yes, it’s basically just Destiny 1.5, but on PC – but I wasn’t expecting it to feel or look quite so good compared to its console cousin. We all know “PC Master Race”, but there at Hawthorne Airport, it became so apparent that the PC has the leg up with this game. And those players willing to give up the XBone or PS4 will likely be very happy they did.

I can't wait to play this on pc. I enjoyed the first one but never really sank a lot of time into it because my gaming friends are almost all exclusively pc players.

Same here, and the fact that I just prefer playing most games on PC. I have a wife and kids at home - they don't appreciate when I bogart the TV for console gaming unless it's something they can play with me.

I'm the opposite. I spend enough time by the PC for work so I prefer to crash on couch lately. Maybe it's an age thing. Also the missus likes to watch the games I play.

Although I definitely prefer my MMOs on PC. But still unsure about Destiny 2. 

Edit: lol not because I say it's not an MMO and you say it is!

If i ever buy this game it would be on PS4 as it is my main platform for gaming. However, I expect every multi platform game to be extremely superior on PC.

I've said it before and i'll say it again... PC hardware are overpriced and when i build a gaming PC just to find out that i have to play with medium settings just to reach consistent 60fps i dont see the point in paying for that hardware that becomes outdated 1-2 years after its release.

They (all companies) better start making PC games that justify paying for a gaming PC.

The console Destiny 1 didn't have them either, and it was just fine. I don't think it's going to be that big of an issue. It's using P2P as it did before.

I am buying on PC because it's on the blizzard app. I own xbox one sadly and we got totally screwed with ps4 exclusives so I won't be buying it for xbox at all.

The console Destiny 1 didn't have them either, and it was just fine. I don't think it's going to be that big of an issue. It's using P2P as it did before.

Isnt that what killed For Honor no dedicated servers?

I've got 2 Xbox Ones, a PS4, a Wii U, and a switch but I will absolutely get the PC version as long as it runs well.

Don't have a console, and won't buy one. So I will wait till it comes out on Battle.net even if there is a delay.

At one time I had the same feeling about console but like rojoArcuied the pc hardware costs seems to make pc gaming alot more $$$ than console. I do hate playing shooter games on the console though because of using a controller and not m&k.

Ill try it when it goes free weekend on battlenet or something like that, i dont want to be scammed with dlc after dlc if the game runs bad in terms of optimization plus no dedicated servers xd

It is Bungie people, expecting a usable UI on the PC is a fantasy.  If you think you are going to play this on the PC, better go buy a controller in preparation.

Personally, I stopped playing Bungie games a long time ago.  Their game quality dropped a level of magnitude once Microsoft bought them.

Though if one pre-orders a game and gets something extra then I can see the incentive. If they pre-order but they don't get anything extra, then no incentive other than they are getting it out of the way.

In any case, "done" pre-ordered Middle Earth Shadow of War. No real incentive other than I got it out of they way.

Just waiting for E3 to see the Project Scorpio version. 

Must likely will be getting it on PC and I am also going to pre order the game.

If anything is 'bad' for the industry which mind you I think most things are not but if I was to make a list a very short list 'pre-order' would be on the list.

The hyper hype machine starts. what many of you dont know is that the hype machine is paid for, it does not happen 'organically' its deliberate and planned and involves multiple venues to get you hyped so that you will buy something that you can proove is not worth the hype they sell you.

hype, and pre-orders are far worse for this industry then Early Access is


also I might add a stradgey that is used in politics, advertising and PR is to accuse the other side of doing EXACTLY what you are doing because it deflects attention. So these hype machines that try to deflect attention away from them and to early access should be inspected more closely....just sayin Sun Tzu Art of War

No dedicated servers seems like a mistake. It's the main reason that For Honor is currently at an abysmal 46% positive overall, 37% positive recent.

Meanwhile Warframe has always had a very positive rating and always called the pc version of Destiny... not all games made the same. Guess we'll have to wait and see...
