Been looking at the map lately seems Google Might try to take over like Skynet they pretty much already have, but also Google has much cheaper prices..

What to do when Everything is owned by Google, the big Google Take Over which has been slowly happening for many years, but I wonder what it would be like if (Excite) took over Google as we know it today. http://forums.mmorpg.com/post/discussion/www.excite.com

Obviously this is just a rumor but I see it happening any time.

As a Spectrum customer already can't say I really would mind.  Just recently I heard Google fiber had decided not to bring their service into my area any time soon, perhaps this is the reason why?

Wasn't there a rumor not too long ago that google was not going to expand like they had planned?

pretty much this.  They did have some areas that they were buying that already had some fiber networks already there, but they've stalled in several emerging markets they planned to target over the next couple years.

It's unfortunate, I was really hoping to bring competition to a lot of big cities to get a better infrastructure, but... I guess that will have to wait.
