    Ok, we have the big 3. 

    Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo

    We also have the biggest publishers in EA, Bethesda and Ubisoft. 

    And now we even have a PC show dedicated to PC gaming. 





    If you think E3 is becoming irrelevant then you do not know anything about gaming. :-)

    What companies have stopped attending? 

    These same conferences are the ones we have every year.

    Only reason to watch E3 nowadays is for some of the embarassing presentations. Will Ubisoft make people dance again?

    The most successful video game company by a large margin has never gone to E3 that I am aware of, it is standing policy that they dont bother. That should spark the attention of the sheep but it rarely does.

    All I care about is Mount & Blade Bannerlord and hopefully a release date, but any new news is fine by me.

    Heh, lest we forget, we're also due for the annual MMORPG.com Best in Show et al awards... you know, like the one that hailed EQ Next and it never even got made.

    which is fair enough but I have heard people say 'there is nothing else like it on the market right now' and what you are describing and that statement I think is a bit far.
