Gamepad or mouse + keyboard?

What do you prefer and why? If been playing whit a gamepad on my ps4 and wonder if its worthwile hooking up a mouse and keyboard.

I played with a game pad (Xbone Elite controller) on PC. Too many damned ability hotkeys on the keyboard.

Mouse +Keyb. Mainly because I started playing FPS in the stone ages, well, the 90's and any other controls for FPS are so less accurate and precise they make no sense.

Once you get used to WASD or wherever you set it to (because on PC we can REMAP keys), like TFGH for instance, it can be adapted to any game of any genre and gives a level of control you just don't get from anything else.

Unless you happen to be steering a car or flying a plane, in which case a good wheel or HOTAS is preferred.

Besides, any game that's not properly configured to work with a keyb+mouse has obviously been coded by monkeys.

For me, mouse and keyboard.  Could not get used to the controller for some reason.
