warriors in bg and pvp

well my main problem is i dont do much damage. i use a one handed weapon and a shield,my weapons pretty good. and most 2 handed weapons deal the same ammount as my one handed. so my question is how can i up my damage? and is defensive or offensive good for a warrior? all i ever see iin bg is rouges and druids. the druid roots me and then the sissy rouges tiptoe behind me. does no one use warriors anymore?

Uhm, you either have a GODLY 1h or you're not looking at GOOD 2hs. I'm guessing the later of the two. Warriors do insane damage, you just need good equip. Warrs are an equip based class and that's just how it is.

Specialize on a two handed or one handed weapon(axes,maces).And then take a tallent like axe specialization,And get urself a Arcanite reaper

well i use a cruel barb. it does like 15 dps. and most 2 handed weapons my level do the same dps. does dps matter for a warrior? like whats damage based off of?i may not deal to much damage but in bg i can take on a rouge a warrior for a good long while. other people relpy with warrior tatics you use againt certain class's. thanks
Well, as a warrior, you want to look at more than just DPS. Other factors play into how well you do. You're going to want a fairly slow... but high base damage weapon. This will ensure awesome crits and overall better damage per hit. Most of your skills do better with high end base damage anyway.
And I'd say go 2h... lose the shield for PvP
1) It dosen't really matter if it's an axe, mace, or sword. But you should build your talents around what you pick or what you'll be using for a while. (I'd guess axe) And yeah, at 30 you get the Whirlwind axe, correct?
2) A druid in tank form isn't as good at tanking as you are. But they might be able to beat you in a duel. (See, I've never played a warrior or a druid... so yeah.) Thing is, druid's have that annoying bear - rage / heal thing, so it's a bit of a pain.
Ok, I was reading through the posts and when I saw druid bear form = warrior equal, I stoped reading. Ok, any warrior who cant compete with the druid bear should just stop playing the game. Ok, great the bear has some def and some crapy atk power, if ure a warrior, you SHOULD have WAY more attack power, and WAY more def if your not a gimp, get yourself into a good guild, and have em help you get a god 2handed weapon for mass damage, run some instances to get good armor aswell, you get decked out in god EQ, warriors are hard as hell to beat, a rogue wont jump you alone unless they got balls or a realy good plan. Also get the trinket to break snare/stun, vs a mage or druid their distance attack is instantly nullified for atleast 10 secs or so. Enough time to rip through a cloth wearer, possibly a leather user. Anyways, just my input.
