    Basically clicking away text windows ruins every MMO, try to have fun instead of rushing things. Without story and lore all there is left is a bunch of mechanics.

    Heroes don't have near the amount of personality that Overwatch or League heroes have, and they kind of set the bar at this point. Other than that the gameplay doesn't seem all that spectacular, it's cool, but Idk, not going to bother with this game I don't think.

    As someone who's played this and many games providing competitive feedback there are a few nuances to note about Breakaway:

    1. The ball play is very important, ignoring or not keeping track of the ball will instantly be your down fall, however getting kills and using your "Warrior" is just about the same amount of importance.
    2. All warriors are very unique, making the argument of "this plays like this or that character from X title" is like saying everyone has completely unique characters, keep in mind LoL base characters were more or less combinations of original DotA characters.
    3. Since this is an AGS (Amazon Games) title, immediate twitch integration is a great thing not only for players/streamers but also casters/tournaments. This helps a lot with eventual eSports/competitive scene as this is one of the main things that holds back production value.
    4. There is a lot of depth not explained in the article and that wouldn't be very recognizable from just seeing a bit of footage, but item builds, counter-building, use of "buildables", team position, etc is just a tip of the iceberg.
    5. Team Work is the base fundamental of this game, no matter how good you are against equally matched skill teams, team work is the deciding factor heavily.

    As someone who has played this game it's utterly uninspired and not fun.

    The most idiotic thing about the game is a player loses control of the ball from any source of damage and not being killed. Its so infuriating because its almost impossible to use tactics. I frankly cannot believe they are launching the game as is.

    That is exactly what the game looks like from someone who hasn't played it. 

    I'll say this again as I have said many times before. This is a billion (billions) dollar company. There is no excuse for first times, or whatever garbage people can make up here in chat. They have every resource at their disposal and are limited by nothing to create something truly amazing and inspiring.  No matter how fun this game may be, at the end of the day, its generic.

    Good luck to everyone who settles from generic from the people that are suppose to bring you more. No wonder why gaming is the way it is.

    Shallow, clunky, and poorly designed. When I played, it was possible to deliver a ball in literal seconds by putting Spartacus's ramp right by the ball spawn, and that's just not acceptable. Quickest uninstall of my life.
