Servers still down?

After that ungodly maintenance yesterday, are the update servers still down today? Because for the past 3 hours, I haven't been able to patch FFXI. I keep getting disconnected.

They came up at 5 AM EDT, right on schedule. I know, because I was there waiting. My cable broadband got the entire upload and I was online and playing in about 45 minutes. Yes, you may start hating me now :-).

I was there right when the servers came back up and their network was clogged badly I couldn't get any download it would eventually crap out and say network busy. So I tried again today and the download started ok and then the final patching began and the estimated wait time was......
8 and a half freaking hours! I'm sorry but that is to freaking long for a patch to install. I guess I'll start it before bed tonightl. I am NOT impressed with square-enix on this day.
I was not impressed with square-enix the past day. This day, I'm [i]freakin' pissed[/i].
You're lucky with 8 hours... I have 10 hours, and I have to do it to two computers, BUT LUCKILY the updater keeps disconnecting and I have to try to recconect (about 20 minutes to finally get back in again) and another 15 to recheck the download before it starts downloading again.
