It's easy to do. Even I a beginner when it comes to computers could DDos a service and there is nothing they can do about it. You can even pay someone else to do it too. But it's like putting a paper bag full of dog poo on someones step and lighting it up and ringing the door bell and running away 100 times in a row.
Sure I could do that and there are some security measures that could be put in to reduce the frequently but if someone really wants to do it they can't be stopped. Thing is why bother ruining someones day and this ruins alot more than 1 persons day and it's just childish and stupid.
They can be stopped, my employer is attacked daily (over 24K times in year) yet rare is the day our customers experience an issue.
Of course we have a worldwide group of over 1K people dedicated specifically to monitoring and protecting the firm from cyber attacks, understandable the Albion team can't devote the same.
