During Gamescom 2017, Blizzard provided a bit of a preview ahead of its Wednesday, August 23rd presser, most notably the new Overwatch map called Junkertown. As the name implies, the map is centered around everyone's favorite Aussies, Junkrat and Roadhog.

Map looks really fun and, lore-wise, I'm pleased to learn more about these two. Of all of them, they were the least fleshed out. :)

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I still play this game but really dislike how they nerf characters into the ground.

It also feels that at times the internal damage modifier numbers get adjusted to maximize wow factor.

My take on how it looks?

It looks ok to good but it is not practical good for game play and that is what matters. There are a few good spots i see for combat,it is not the most terrible map that is for sure,it covers the basics, like some cover, zaxis etc etc.
The overall design of the game is what matters most to me,it is sort of typical of Blizzard cartoon look, low end graphics but the combat itself is just not good enough to attract me.Besides i prefer only 1 on 1 or at most 3-4 players,i guess the map is good enough, maybe a 6/10.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Dude what? The damage you do is pretty well documented for all the heroes. Hitscans have damage falloff, the others are fine. Except Mei. She is a projectile dps but still has falloff on the icicle

I'm not talking about range of shots or damage fall off, I'm talking about at certain times you can shoot someone point blank in the face 4 times and they don't die(without heals) yet at other times depending on the flow of the game die in two shots. It feels similar to the way the damage rounds off in HotS or the rng in Hearthstone which are both intentional functions to maximize wow factor. I actually think it's a plus and is the magic ingredient that allow everyone to be a winner at some point which is good for their business. When you make a loser a winner they stay loyal for a very long time.

Created a lot of hype for some tiny bits of DLC.. I hope they are holding something back.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

3800 SR player here. I'm calling your post bullshit. You either play with huge ping or at 20 fps and you confuse misses for hits. Get better. There's absolutely no RNG in overwatch's damage formula. Especially with critical hits (headshots)
