While an official site has yet to open, the Soul Worker Online Facebook page sported a brief message to show off a new game play trailer. According to the post, open beta will begin for the anime-inspired MMO at the end of 2017 and the trailer offers a view of fast-paced action.

    I'd have to see more and learn more about this mmo before I knew if I would be interested. But if it's anything like Rusty Hearts I'll pass.

    Well, hopefully they won't pull the same crap EME, and ALLM did with Kritika, by trying so hard to provide a unique experience in their version, that they ruin the game in the process.

    It's not really a MMO, as only up to four people can play together. It's one of those town hub, instanced dungeon type online games like C9, Rusty Hearts, and others, but Soul Worker is 3D like C9, rather than a 2.5D side scroller like Rusty Hearts.

    I mean just because your characters are flat you don't have to overcompensate by over the top VFX for the "cool" factor - in fact I think it does the exact opposite - makes it worse.



    If Cell Shaded light FX induces a migraine you either need to go to your optometrist or get tested for epilepsy, BDO is potentially 10x worse than this trailer depending on how high your gfx are and screen shake.
