A Question For People Familiar With Web Development and Google Docs

I'm publishing a page for a site I've been helping with. A calculator that people can edit certain fields to get back detailed information of crafting projects.

I want the page to be editable only in specific fields and I only want the data that users enter to only affect their view.

Also I'm hosting the page through WordPress rather than giving them direct access to the Google Doc in order help drive traffic to the specific site I'm helping.

The issue I'm running into is the page is not editable and I don't know how to change that.

Here is a link to what i am working with:

Any advise on how to fix this up would be appreciated.

EDIT: A bit of background details. I'm extremely proficient in excel. This document was made in excel and uploaded to Google docs. I'm moderately proficient in Wordpress. This document is my first go at using google docs ever. I'm only using Google docs because it seems to be the easiest format to use when embedding an excel document into Wordpress.

I think Google Docs is just a little bit too simple to do what you're asking for, unless you are certain that it can actually be done. I've just been through the process myself and it doesn't look hopeful - there were no options I could see to determine how interactive your embedded sheet should be.

There are alternatives. Microsoft offer exactly what you're looking for if you excel spreadsheet is on OneDrive or Sharepoint. You can specify exactly what level of interactivity you want the public to be able to have, allowing you to achieve your exact goal.

There are also tools out there that will convert spreadsheets into html/css/js which would also achieve your goal. I only found one as I wasn't searching long, it is paid for but has a free trial

For myself, I would probably just create the tool from scratch, developer's prerogative
