Devs feel that the key to making something amazing is to ensure builders are using a variety of materials and structure types.

The Dev's haven't been able to stop the glitch raiding yet. A guy logs in and out 20 times in 5 minutes and steals everything in your base. Its a shame

I must agree here. Game is pretty much unplayable until they fix this issue. Who cares how nice your Base looks atm?

PS. Never join Private Servers! Admin Abuse is guaranteed (Yes, even those who tell you they don't).

That's actually not true. Some people have such negative few of the world.

Maybe the better statement is "Never Join Private Servers with people you don't know".

Been there, done that. Most are dead because if you do have people you know on YOUR server, who is going to play the Enemy? (From a PvP perspective). And most people that I've seen in a game like Conan Exiles have 2-4 "Friends" online. Random people can figure it out fast.

Unless ALL of your servers population (At Primetime) are your friends or people you know, it will die fast.

It's why Official Servers have a much healthier Population at Primetime than Private Servers, if you compared the same amount.

If you want Guaranteed Non-Admin Abuse, join an Official Server. There is no guarantee on your "Friends" server and the time it takes to get anywhere in this game is not even worth the risk.

To each their own.

Well, one could make it so that you have pvp events, perhaps a Saturday where you set the server to "pvp" and have your free for all pvp, maybe there is a goal where once a certain structure is destroyed then that person is "out".

All I know is that I and my friends used to play tackle football when I was younger and still managed to remain friends.

Or just host your own server, it's not a lot of money at all, and you can be the decider as to what happens to cheaters.

Not really sure what to tell you. you can have anything you want you just can't have everything you want.

A healthy population means nothing if the game/servers are run like crap.

I have played on private servers for games i have bought because they actually offer a different experience,different content and i don't feel like the developer is trying to rip me off.

As of right now there is not one single law governing developers from baiting you in then changing the playing field or saying screw you ,we already have your money.I feel even more helpless in TCG's because you have no physical representation of the product you apparently bought and in gaming we NEVER own these games even though devs and such pretend we do,we only license the use of them.
What people also fail to remember is that Private servers are people spending their own time and money,they are NOT paid,proving they are in it for the love of the game.So it is not like they are trying to scam anyone.
A perfect example is COD,i loved that game,i finally had to quit for good because nobody cares about cheating,i bought those games but cannot play them,yeah my choice but it is not a FAIR choice.


When my account got hacked in my fave game the devs took their sweet ass time in moving on it,i paid for an entire month of subscription while not being able to play my game,you think the dev or it's empoloyees care.pfft not one bit.If you do something wrong they act immediately,if you need them to act they don't,so yeah there NEEDS to be a lot of changes and as of right now ,private servers are the ONLY leeway we have to fight for equal rights as consumers.

Played on 2 official servers at EA launch for 2 weeks, ran into and heard about 0 exploits used to get into bases. Just played the expansion on 2 official servers for another 2 weeks, ran into and heard about 0 exploits being used. The game definitely has potential, the best survival building system out of the 5 I've played. Its real Conan-esq Mature rating is a huge attracting feature. We simply ran out of content, they need to up the server caps to 100 to interest us (hardcore pvpers) when this launches.

As a so-called "hardcore pvper" how did you enjoy the combat? To me its the weakest part of the game, it feels floaty, spammy and completely non skill based. Basically just run up to something and spam left click until either you or it dies. The hit detection can be very wonky at times which just adds to the crappy feel.

I don't know how they can boast about all the building you can do when to get some common shapes you need the Pythagoras mod.

Private servers are the best. After being online gaming for so many years I have become overwhelmed by the variety of trolls and bored people who go online to official to take out their daily frustration on other players because their personal lives are mundane or not going right. I recently quit another game that i spent years on to go private and conan exiles is impeccable for that. I have no more stress or worries as i do love building and going out on adventures. I am loving the new dlc that was released, dressing my thralls and playing with my husband and daughter. Who needs the confused people who want to turn the game into gorean mutilations towards women in their silly clans as I have read on other sights. The game is to play and have adventure, the twisted minds force many to want to go coop private due to what ive mentioned as well as the continuous stealing, glitch exploits. These are absolute spoilers to online gaming and what seems as an adventurous idea to meet other gamers and have fun can become a solid nightmare instead of just coming from work, switching on your ps4, inbox, or pc to game and destressing. I have divorced the idea of online gaming officially since 5 days ago. If you like stress and trolling and its your kick, then go for it, as its not mine for sure. Absolutely love Conan Exiles and cant wait to see what they bring forth as I have bought every dlc and have not been disappointed.
